Bethany 2026 Read-A-Thon
March 9th-March 20th
Bethany Elementary’s annual Read-a-Thon is a great way to jump-start your student’s excitement to read this spring and throughout the year. It’s also one of two core fundraisers that support the PTO general fund (the other is the spring Jog-a-Thon). Look for the information to come home with your students, see below, or click here to download the flyer.
Our students will collect flat amount or per-minute pledges from family and friends, and then read for 12 days starting on March 9th, recording their minutes each day. Any kind of reading counts - including being read to by another child or adult. The Read-a-Thon provides students with the opportunity to win fun prizes and celebrate their favorite books, while raising essential funds to support our school. Thank you for your support!

Read-A-Thon Important Dates:
03/02-03/08: Students ask family and friends to sponsor their reading using Pledge Star. Set up your fundraising page at https://pledgestar.com/bspto
03/09-03/20: Begin 12 days to read, read, read and record your minutes!
04/03: Reading logs are due!
